We witnessed a great moment on Saturday night, following the Montreal Canadiens’ win over the Ottawa Senators.<\/p>\n

Trailing late in the game, the Habs found a way to secure two huge points.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t the cleanest performance from Martin St-Louis’ group, but the result held up.<\/p>\n

The Ottawa Senators were up by two goals with less than five minutes to play, and it felt like the end.<\/p>\n

But the Tricolore refused to fold.<\/p>\n

Juraj Slafkovsky first pulled everyone back into the game, then Alexandre Carrier tied it late in the third period.<\/p>\n

In just a few shifts, Ottawa saw its lead disappear, and the Montreal Canadiens bounced back.<\/p>\n

In overtime, Cole Caufield once again played the hero.<\/p>\n

He scored his 24th goal of the season and finished the night with three points.<\/p>\n

When it matters, he has a knack for showing up at the right moment, like an old movie you rewatch and still love.<\/p>\n

That win helps in the standings.<\/p>\n

To everyone’s surprise, he was wearing a Walter Payton Chicago Bears jersey, not exactly the classic look for a game day in Ottawa.<\/p>\n

The reason was simple, and honestly funny.<\/p>\n

Caufield had lost a bet with Renaud Lavoie about the Packers vs. Bears game.<\/p>\n

He said it straight up: a bet is a bet, and he kept his word.<\/p>\n

A nice gesture from Caufield, showing that he has a great relationship with Renaud Lavoie.<\/p>\n
