While it can be more difficult to give back to those in need, one Bulldog hasn\u2019t let it stop her at all.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Grace Sadura has been named one of 12 nominees for the 2026 Hockey Humanitarian Award. The honor is presented annually to a student-athlete who makes significant contributions not only to his or her team but also to the community through leadership in volunteerism. <\/p>\n<p>On top of serving as co-president of UMD\u2019s DEI council, the junior also sits on the board for the Green Bandana Project, a program for high school and college students that raises mental health awareness.
