In addition to his on-ice performance, Hughes has recently been spotted with pop star Tate McRae<\/a>, who also attended a Devils game last month.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAll the other stuff is good, it comes on the side if you\u2019re playing well,\u201d Hughes said. \u201cYou kinda got to put the cart before the horse. I\u2019m lucky to be in the position that I\u2019m in. The most fun I have is on the ice.\u201d<\/p>\n Jack is teammates in New Jersey with his younger brother Luke, 22 \u2014 who will miss time after suffering a dislocated shoulder against the Calgary Flames on Monday, January 19 \u2014 and his older brother, Quinn, 26, was recently traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the Minnesota Wild in a blockbuster deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re pretty much talking all the time,\u201d Jack said of his relationship with his brothers. \u201cI get to see Quinn play and he watches all the Devils games. It\u2019s definitely easy with Luke when we live across the hall from each other and we\u2019re driving to the rink together every day. With Quinn, it\u2019s pretty easy especially with him being back in a closer time zone to us. It makes it a little easier than when he was living on the west coast.\u201d<\/p>\n Quinn will join Jack on Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy next month, where they will be joined by another pair of superstar brothers: Matthew<\/a> and Brady Tkachuk<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re really close with them from over the years,\u201d Jack said. \u201cQuinn lived with the Tkachuks when he was with [the U.S. National Team Development Program]. Matthew\u2019s been a really good role model for us over the years. I know they\u2019re excited to be a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n In reference to the Tkachuk brothers\u2019 penchant for stirring the post, Jack said, \u201cEverybody knows how the Tkachuks are. They\u2019ll be fun to have on our team.\u201d<\/p>\n In the midst of a busy NHL schedule before heading to Italy, Jack understands the importance of staying healthy.
