It appears injury scares for Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a> centre Anthony Cirelli<\/a> and Los Angeles Kings<\/a> goaltender Darcy Kuemper<\/a> on Tuesday will not affect their availability for Team Canada at next month\u2019s Olympics.<\/p>\n

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports Cirelli is expected back for Friday\u2019s game against the Chicago Blackhawks<\/a> after exiting Tuesday\u2019s win over the San Jose Sharks<\/a> with an undisclosed injury. <\/p>\n

LeBrun adds that Kuemper is considered day-to-day, but more tests will be done to determine the extent of his injury after exiting his team\u2019s win over the New York Rangers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

On Team Canada’s Anthony Cirelli (TB) and Darcy Kuemper (LAK), both of whom left their respective games last night, neither situation is expected to affect their Olympic standing. Cirelli should play next game.

Kuemper left Tuesday\u2019s game in the first period after a collision with Johnny Brodzinski of the Rangers in the crease.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have too much to share,\u201d Kings head coach Jim Hiller<\/a> said postgame. \u201cWe\u2019ll probably know a little bit more tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kuemper, 35, has a 12-9-9 record with a .904 save percentage and a 2.52 goals-against average in 32 games this season. <\/p>\n

Cirelli, 28, has 13 goals and 30 points in 44 games this season.<\/p>\n
