The Montreal Canadiens (12-33-7, 31 pts) will try to extend their win streak to five games when they visit the Ottawa Senators\u00a0 (19-26-5, 43 pts) for the first time this season at the Canadian Tire Centre Saturday (7:00 PM ET, SN1, SNE, CITY, TVAS) before heading out on their western road trip.<\/p>\n

The Canadiens and the Senators, Atlantic divisional rivals, are only meeting for the first time this season, which is already 53 games old. The Senators have won 5 of their last 12 games in the month of February and are looking to finish the month above .500 with a win over the Canadiens. For the Habs, it\u2019s all about riding the wave of momentum with youngsters Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki, leading the charge, en route to the NHL Trade Deadline on March 21st.<\/p>\n

Andrew Hammond<\/a> is slated to start for the Montreal Canadiens; getting a shot at shutting down his former team. The veteran goaltender won his only game for the Montreal Canadiens in a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders on February 20th. In that game, he posted a\u00a0 1.85 GAA and a .938 save percentage.<\/p>\n

Matt Murray is slated to start for the Senators. He\u2019s is 5-9-2 this season with a 2.69 GAA and a .919 save percentage.<\/p>\n

Montreal Canadiens Notes<\/p>\n

Cole Caufield<\/a> has been on fire for the Canadiens, posting six goals and four assists over his last seven games.<\/p>\n

Nick Suzuki has also caught fire recently, putting up two goals and three assists in his last three games.<\/p>\n

Ottawa Senators Notes<\/p>\n
