Olympic roster drama grows as Jackson LaCombe joins Team USA and Bill Guerin leaves New York Rangers fans frustrated once again.<\/p>\n

Peter Baugh pointed out the painful part for New York, LaCombe is yet another defenseman chosen over Fox, and Fox is a right shot like Jones. Baugh also noted Fox’s lower-body injury could be part of the equation, since he’s skating back in New York but wasn’t on the Rangers’ trip.<\/p>\n

It’s hard not to take it personally, because Fox is exactly the kind of defenseman you trust when the pace spikes.<\/p>\n

To be fair, injuries matter in Olympic planning, and Guerin’s group is building a tournament roster, not a popularity list. But the LaCombe’s addition over Adam Fox and several others makes zero sense.<\/p>\n

With that being said, the next milestone is simple, get Fox fully healthy and dominating again, because the loudest rebuttal to any \u00abfit\u00bb argument is a month of elite NHL tape.<\/p>\n
