It seems that nobody that the Birds have interviewed so far wants the job.\u00a0 There is speculation that it\u2019s not the Ideal job for the candidates that the\u00a0Eagles have interviewed. The Flyers suffered a nightmarish loss in Overtime to the Utah Mammoth on Wednesday night, wasting a 4-2 lead in the third period.\u00a0 Flyers Head coach Rick Tocchet expressed his disappointment after the game by saying the loss was \u201cUnacceptable\u201d, and that his players have to \u201cRise to the occasion\u201d. The Flyers challenge the best team in the NHL Friday night in Denver before returning home from this three-game west coast road trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Sixers, who last appeared in the NBA Championship twenty-five years ago, beat the Houston Rockets Thursday night in overtime 128-122.\u00a0 Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey was named as a starter in this year’s NBA All star game, and led the Sixers with 36 points in the victory Thursday Night.
