I think we’re putting together something that I believe in and Blash (Jeff Blashill) is somebody I believe in. So, yeah, there’s a lot to want to be a part of here, for sure.»

The intriguing part is that it opens up a spot for a prospect to immediately join the Blackhawks.

Either way, keep an eye on how he is deployed over the next stretch; that usually tells you when calls are turning real.

Previously on Chicago Hockey Insider

POLL

JANVIER 22 | 117 ANSWERS

Chicago Blackhawks forward admits the team might ultimately trade him at the deadline

Should the Chicago Blackhawks trade Jason Dickinson?

PUBLICATION Sam Walker January 22, 2026 (10:14) Photo credit: Nick Turchiaro-Imagn Images A Jason Dickinson trade…

[5115
521,18928,37,96,5263,5,181,4446,4,6045
0":"post-426298","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-chicago-blackhawks","8":"tag-blackhawks","9":"tag-blackhawks-news-and-rumors","10":"tag-chicago","11":"tag-chicago-blackhawks","12":"tag-chicagoblackhawks","13":"tag-hockey","14":"tag-hockey-news","15":"tag-jason-dickinson","16":"tag-nhl","17":"tag-trade-deadline
["GET
