The Montreal Canadiens are still on the hunt for a veteran right-shot defenceman on the NHL trade<\/a> market, and here are some of the options available to them.<\/p>\n

Martin St. Louis<\/a> is right in saying that the team\u2019s penalty kill has been excellent thus far this year, but the goaltenders deserve a large part of the praise:<\/p>\n

Canada Hockey Now<\/p>\n

CGY: The Calgary Flames<\/a> have locked down what could be the best goaltending tandem in the NHL.<\/p>\n

National Hockey Now<\/p>\n

NYI: The New York Islanders<\/a>\u2018 backend has been heavily active on the rush and in the offensive zone, which has helped them create way more offence.<\/p>\n

BOS: The Boston Bruins<\/a> will have a new look to their lineup coming off giving up seven goals in a Tuesday night loss to the Ottawa Senators.<\/p>\n

PGH: The ill-fated robo-pigeon logo will return this season as the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> reverse retro jersey.<\/p>\n

PHI: The Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> unveiled their reverse retro jerseys Thursday, and they will be worn for eight games during the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

WSH: After signing with the\u00a0Seattle Kraken\u00a0following his lengthy tenure with the Washington Capitals<\/a> organization, defenseman\u00a0Michal Kempny\u00a0will become a free agent once again, pending waivers.<\/p>\n

FLA:\u00a0Eric Staal has a spot in the Florida Panthers<\/a> locker room and was on the ice with them on Thursday morning.\u00a0Yet Staal is not a member of the team. At least not officially.\u00a0So what\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n

DET: The Detroit Red Wings<\/a>\u2019 brain trust didn\u2019t need long to decide who to recall to replace missing players Tyler Bertuzzi and Jakub Vrana.<\/p>\n

VGK: The Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>\u2019 retro reverse jersey was leaked back in September, and it looks like the leaks were true.<\/p>\n
