Before the New Jersey Devils<\/a> (27-23-2) host the Winnipeg Jets (20-24-7) at the Prudential Center tonight, they will honor John MacLean by inducting him into the Ring of Honor.<\/p>\n

Per the Devils, \u201cJohn MacLean, 1995 Stanley Cup Champion as a player and 2003 Stanley Cup Champion as an assistant coach,\u00a0will be inducted into the Devils Ring of Honor presented by Citizens during a pregame ceremony\u00a0on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, when the team hosts the Winnipeg Jets.<\/p>\n

\u201cMacLean will be honored during the on-ice ceremony with his wife, Adrienne, and two sons, Kyle and John Carter. The ceremony will feature a tribute video showcasing highlights of his career, special acknowledgments, and gifting, with more video storytelling featured throughout the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll fans in attendance will receive a limited-edition Ring of Honor commemorative pin courtesy of Citizens. Fans are asked to be in their seats by 6:45 PM for the start of the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u201cCeremony begins at 7:06pm. Devils alumni will be introduced, and a tribute video will play, followed by gifting, speeches, and a display reveal.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the puck drops shortly after, a crucial two points are at stake against the 30th-ranked Jets, who are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games.<\/p>\n

The Devils\u2014who are five points from playoff position in the Metropolitan Division\u2014are pushing to make the playoffs. They\u2019ve won five of their last seven and can ill afford to leave points on the table to bottom dwellers.<\/p>\n
