Sweden has added Marcus Johansson<\/a> and defenceman, Hampus Lindholm<\/a> to their roster at The Winter Olympic Games in Italy as injury replacements, according to TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston.<\/p>\n

The Swedish \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddea Olympic team has added forward Marcus Johansson and defenseman Hampus Lindholm to their Milan roster as injury replacements for Leo Carlsson and Jonas Brodin<\/p>\n

Johansson, 35, has 13 goals and 34 points with the Minnesota Wild<\/a> this season. <\/p>\n

He will be replacing Anaheim Ducks<\/a> forward Leo Carlsson<\/a>, who underwent thigh surgery on Jan. 16 and is expected to be out 3-to-5 weeks.<\/p>\n

Lindholm, 32, has three goals and 16 points in 39 games for the Boston Bruins<\/a> this season while averaging 22:04 of ice time.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-4, left-shot defenceman will be replacing Wild defenceman Jonas Brodin<\/a>, who was shut down with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n

Sweden is looking for their first Olympic gold medal in men\u2019s hockey since claiming victory at The Winter Olympics in 2006.<\/p>\n

They kick off their tournament on Feb. 11 against host Italy.<\/p>\n
