Calgary Flames<\/a> forward Blake Coleman<\/a> will remain sidelined until after the Olympic break, head coach Ryan Huska<\/a> confirmed Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Coleman was placed on injured reserve on Jan. 13 with an upper-body injury and last played on Jan. 8 against the Boston Bruins<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Huska said over the weekend that Coleman was nearing a return, but initially suggested he may not be 100 per cent upon his return. <\/p>\n

\u201cI would say he\u2019s close,\u201d Huska said at the time. \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019ll see him this week, in my opinion, but that could change as it goes. Every day, he\u2019s getting better and better so you never know with Blake. He\u2019s one of those guys that is more than willing to play when\u2019s not quite 100 per cent. So we\u2019ll see as it keeps progressing. He\u2019s getting better every day, which is something we\u2019re happy about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coleman, who has has 13 goals and 21 points in 44 games this season, will now be out until at least Feb. 26, when the Flames visit the San Jose Sharks<\/a> in their first game after the break.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old winger has been drawing interest ahead of the trade deadline, but TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports the Flames aren\u2019t in a rush to move him. <\/p>\n

Coleman is under contract through next season at cap hit of $4.9 million.<\/p>\n
