The Flyers\u2019 got some bad news later in the game as well. It was announced that goaltender Samuel Ersson couldn\u2019t continue. He left after the second period with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n
Ersson had already faced a rough workload, allowing five goals on 20 shots before the injury.<\/p>\n
Philadelphia\u2019s own update confirmed he was done for the night.<\/p>\n
On the season, Ersson sits at 8-10-5 with a .856 save percentage, so the Flyers cannot really afford more instability in net.<\/p>\n
Dan Vladar took over and stopped all six shots he saw, but the damage was already sitting on the scoreboard.<\/p>\n
Losing Zacha is a huge loss for the Bruins, and being without two top-six players is definitely not ideal, especially with how close the playoff race is right now.<\/p>\n
