The Montreal Canadiens defenseman, Noah Dobson, has just learned some excellent news.<\/p>\n

His wife, Alexa, announced that they are expecting their first child in 2026.<\/p>\n

The video post reveals that they are expecting a baby girl later this summer. It\u2019s another piece of good news that has been noticed inside the Canadiens\u2019 locker room.<\/p>\n

Nick Suzuki and Caitlin Fitzgerald Suzuki are also expecting their first baby this spring.<\/p>\n

On the ice, Dobson is already enjoying a standout season in Montreal. He has recorded 10 goals and 23 assists.<\/p>\n

At this pace, reaching the 50-point mark is becoming a realistic objective.<\/p>\n

It would mark the third 50-point season or better of his career.<\/p>\n

Noah Dobson is having a strong season with the Canadiens<\/p>\n

Before arriving with the Canadiens, he had his best season in 2023\u201324: 70 points in 79 games. The following season, he added 39 points in 71 games with the Islanders.<\/p>\n

In 2021\u201322, his rookie season, he had already collected 51 points in 80 games. He played 34 games and recorded 7 points. Those numbers explain why Montreal made a major investment to bring him in.<\/p>\n

Montreal acquired him on June 27, 2025, and he later signed an eight-year contract extension.<\/p>\n

The trade sent Emil Heineman and two first-round picks in 2025 the other way.<\/p>\n

Between a move, a wedding last summer, and now a pregnancy, it\u2019s been a lot. Since then, he\u2019s often been seen with Alexa, and today\u2019s news adds a beautiful emotional touch.<\/p>\n

At this rate, the Habs might end up opening a daycare at the Bell Centre.<\/p>\n

Suzuki, meanwhile, is coming off a 2024\u201325 season with 89 points in 82 games. He also finished with a career-high 59 assists. The year before, he produced 77 points in 82 games.<\/p>\n

When the captain is that consistent, it makes this good news feel even lighter. Add Dobson to the mix, and 2026 is shaping up to be a special year, both at home and on the ice.<\/p>\n
