The San Jose Sharks are getting Philipp Kurashev and Shakir Mukhamadullin back in the lineup against the Calgary Flames on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Per coach<\/a> Ryan Warsofsky, both players will play for the Sharks. Defenseman Timothy Liljegren and winger Pavol Regenda<\/a> will come out of the lineup as healthy scratches.<\/p>\n Kiefer Sherwood<\/a> will be out on Saturday. The forward isn\u2019t activated off injured reserve just yet. The San Jose Sharks haven\u2019t given the green light for the winger to return from an upper-body injury. Sherwood was not officially ruled out of Saturday\u2019s game as of Friday.<\/p>\n Sherwood hasn’t been ruled out for tomorrow. <\/p>\n To my eye, looked pretty good in practice today, shot had mustard.<\/p>\n Warsofsky: \u201cWe have to see how Kiefer does in the practice today. Iorio was claimed off waivers by the New York Rangers on Saturday.<\/p>\n Kurashev is playing his first game since Dec. 13. In 31 games this season, the Sharks forward has six goals and nine assists. Mukhamadullin last played on Jan. 3. The defenseman has two goals and four assists in 24 games.<\/p>\n \u201cWith [Regenda], he\u2019s been fine. I think there\u2019s some things in his game we want to continue to press and get better at,\u201d Warsofsky told reporters. \u201cHe\u2019s done some good things for us. We like him a lot. We think [Kurashev] is ready give us another element of speed.\u201d<\/p>\n Liljegren is a healthy scratch one game after a costly mistake in overtime against the Edmonton Oilers. Warsofsky opted to put out two defensemen on the ice against Connor McDavid<\/a> and Leon Draisaitl, and it worked. Liljegren retrieved the puck, but then turned it over with a bad pass, leading directly to the game-winning goal.<\/p>\n \u201cI made a bad turnover, was trying to get it over to Wenny on the other side, and kind of fanned on the puck a little bit, and they got possession,\u201d Liljegren said postgame.<\/p>\n \u201cWe gotta get Mukh playing. Lily\u2019s played some pretty good hockey. Just want to get Mukh in,\u201d Warsofsky said.<\/p>\n Alex Nedeljkovic will start in goal for the San Jose Sharks.
