{"id":441985,"date":"2026-02-02T20:40:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T20:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/441985\/"},"modified":"2026-02-02T20:40:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T20:40:16","slug":"vasilevskiy-named-nhls-second-star-of-the-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/441985\/","title":{"rendered":"Vasilevskiy named NHL&#8217;s Second Star of the Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy was named the NHL\u2019s Second Star of the Week.<\/p>\n<p>Vasilevskiy, Seattle Kraken left wing Jared McCann, and Philadelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny have been named the NHL\u2019s \u201cThree Stars\u201d for the week ending Feb. 1.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Three Stars of the Week presented by GEICO&#8221; is a weekly NHL recognition program in which GEICO sponsors the announcement of the top three players of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Vasilevskiy started all three games with a 1.95 goals-against average, .930 save percentage and one shutout, helping the Bolts climb to the top of the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n<p>He secured his 42nd career shutout with 28 saves in a 2-0 win against the Utah Mammoth on Jan. 26, only let in one goal with 24 saves during the Bolt\u2019s 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Jan. 9, and saved all three shootout attempts in Sunday\u2019s Stadium Series game against the Boston Bruins.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly all Lightning games will be broadcast live on The Spot \u2013 Tampa Bay 66 (WXPX-TV) and will also be <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/lightning\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">streamed here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Spot Tampa Bay 66 is the official broadcast partner of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
