It\u2019s confirmed: Alexandre Texier will not take the ice at the Grand Casino Arena tonight against the Minnesota Wild.<\/p>\n

Martin St-Louis will once again have to do without his French forward, who is dealing with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n

“Canadiens going with the same lineup as Saturday; Alexandre Texier (LBI), Jayden Struble & Sammy Blais remain OUT.”<\/p>\n

Fortunately, Kirby Dach is back to solidify the first line. Dach has already had success alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s talk numbers. Montreal holds a 31-17-7 record this season. Minnesota, meanwhile, sits at 32-14-10. It\u2019s a big road test for Martin St-Louis\u2019 group.<\/p>\n

The Habs have been averaging 4.7 goals per game recently. However, the Wild are red-hot, riding a five-game streak with at least one point.<\/p>\n

Alexandre Texier remains sidelined with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n

“Dobes tonight against the Wild, Texier still injured, and still no information on a possible return for Patrik Laine.”<\/p>\n

You can sense that the Canadiens want to be cautious with Alexandre Texier.<\/p>\n

With a surplus of forwards, Martin St-Louis can afford to be patient before reinserting him into the lineup.<\/p>\n

The bad news is that we still don\u2019t know when he\u2019ll be able to return to the lineup.<\/p>\n

Texier\u2019s absence forces Joe Veleno to take on more responsibility.<\/p>\n

We should receive a full update on his health status soon, but he is not on the long-term injured reserve list.<\/p>\n
