The snow we had on Tuesday will taper off by morning and skies will be mostly cloudy across Western New York. A little bit of sunshine may even try to break through during the day.<\/p>\n
Temperatures in the morning will be in the 10s to start with highs getting up into the 20s for the afternoon.<\/p>\n
We stay dry for Thursday with similar temperatures before our next weather maker moves in Friday. This will bring another chance for some light to moderate snow. Accumulations will generally be on the order of 1-3″ for Friday.<\/p>\n
The bigger impact will be the arctic cold that settles in behind this front for the weekend. Temperatures on Saturday will only reach the single digits with lows around zero, if not below. Wind chill values could dip to around 20 below.<\/p>\n

AG James launches new legal project to monitor federal immigration enforcement<\/a><\/p>\n Through the new initiative, the AG’s office will collect reports of enforcement actions throughout New York and send trained personnel to observe and document that activity, as well as any related protests, as they occur. These legal observers will serve as neutral witnesses and will record information.<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0Buffalo Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to miss Olympic Winter Games<\/a><\/p>\n Luukkonen suffered a lower body injury late last month. While Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff says he is progressing, there is no timetable for a return.\u00a0<\/p>\n 4.\u00a0Multibillion-dollar data center to be built in Genesee County<\/a><\/p>\n The site is proposed to consist of three buildings making up a 2.2 million square foot data center campus. The project is also expected to create 125 new jobs, in addition to a significant number of construction jobs.<\/p>\n 5.\u00a0New cybersecurity funding coming to several Western New York counties<\/a><\/p>\n Funding will go towards providing multi-factor authentication hard tokens to various school districts, towns and villages within these counties.
