He’s dealing with migraines, according to head coach Adam Foote.” Thomas Drance of The Athletic said on Tuesday.

Vancouver Canucks’ Adam Foote give big injury updates heading into the Olympic break

When speaking with reporters after Wednesday night’s loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, Vancouver Canucks head coach Adam Foote gave several injury updates, saying that he expects all four players on the sidelines at the moment – Brock Boeser, Zeev Buium, Filip Chytil and Marco Rossi – to be back at the team’s next practice on Tuesday, February 17th.”All those guys you mentioned [Boeser, Buium, Rossi and Chytil], I expect them to be back for practice.” Foote said.

He added, “Zeev might be real close, but I think he’ll be skating. I think Boeser started skating a little bit. He’s a pro. He’ll be good over the break, getting his ice time. We’ve got lots of time with this group coming back; we’ve got a lot of practice time.”

Foote also gave a bit of a positive update in regards to Filip Chytil and his migraine issues, saying that he’s not expected to be out long-term, but will meet with a specialist during the Olympic break.

“I don’t think so. He’s going to see someone that’s dealt with other players with the same type of injury, migraines. A new doctor. Hopefully, we can get down to the bottom of it. He’ll have a week or so where they’re on and off, and then he doesn’t have them for a while. So, hopefully that can be found and corrected. I’m positive that it will.” Foote said.

Good news for the Canucks, and those injured players, is that they’ll have an additional 12 days to recover before the team’s next practice and hopefully in that time, the majority of them will be back to 100 percent and good to go for the first game after the Olympic break, which is set for Wednesday, February 25th against the Winnipeg Jets.

Previously on Vancouver Hockey Daily

POLL

1 HOUR AGO|36 ANSWERS

Vancouver Canucks get unsettling injury news as Adam Foote breaks silence before Olympic break

Which Vancouver Canucks player do you think will return from injury first?

                 …

[5128
305,894,5561,5,4,893,27,25899,33575,5692,5313
0":"post-448040","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-vancouver-canucks","8":"tag-brock-boeser","9":"tag-canucks","10":"tag-filip-chytil","11":"tag-hockey","12":"tag-nhl","13":"tag-vancouver","14":"tag-vancouver-canucks","15":"tag-vancouver-canucks-injuries","16":"tag-vancouver-canucks-injury-updates","17":"tag-vancouver-canucks-news","18":"tag-vancouvercanucks
["GET
