The Winter Olympic Games officially kick off Feb. 6, and hockey fans around the world are eager to watch some of their favorite players take the ice and represent their home nations. Jackson LaCombe<\/a>, Mikael Granlund<\/a>, Radko Gudas<\/a>, and Lukas Dostal<\/a> of the Anaheim Ducks, as well as prospect Damian Clara, will be jetting to Milan to help their respective nations chase a gold medal in the men\u2019s ice hockey tournament.<\/p>\n

If you want to catch these Ducks in action, look no further. The schedule for watching your favorite members of the squad chase Olympic gold is as follows, with all times listed in Pacific Standard Time.<\/p>\n

LaCombe: Team USA<\/p>\n

LaCombe was selected to Team USA at the last minute due to defenseman Seth Jones becoming injured. The Ducks\u2019 defender has 37 points<\/a> (six goals, 31 assists) this season. The United States will be competing in Group C, where they will compete with Latvia, Germany, and Denmark to qualify for the playoffs.<\/p>\n

They begin their tournament on Feb. 12 against Latvia (12:10 p.m.). Continuing through group play, they take on Denmark on Feb. 14 (12:10 p.m.) and Germany on Feb. 15 (12:10 p.m.).<\/p>\n

Granlund: Team Finland<\/p>\n

Veteran NHL forward Granlund will be appearing in the Olympics for the second time,= as he previously competed in 2014. He has had a solid season in Anaheim, tallying 27 points<\/a> (12 goals, 15 assists) in 38 games despite missing some time for injury. He and Finland compete in Group B alongside Slovakia, Sweden, and Italy.<\/p>\n

\"MikaelMikael Granlund, Anaheim Ducks (Amy Irvin<\/a> \/ The Hockey Writers)<\/p>\n

Granlund will be competing in the first game of the tournament on Feb. 11 against Slovakia (7:40 a.m.). They will continue their group play with games against Sweden on Feb. 13 (3:10 a.m.) and Italy on Feb. 14 (7:40 a.m.).<\/p>\n

Gudas and Dostal: Team Czechia<\/p>\n

This Czech duo will once again be together in international play. Gudas and Dostal also competed together in the 2024 World Championship, where Czechia took home a gold medal<\/a>. This will be Gudas\u2019 second Olympic appearance as he also competed in 2014.<\/p>\n

The Ducks\u2019 captain and defenseman has 10 points<\/a> (one goal, nine assists) and is valued for his physical presence during games. Dostal, a goaltender, has had an up-and-down season, but still boasts a 21-13-2 record <\/a>with a .897 save percentage (SV%).<\/p>\n

Gudas, Dostal, and their fellow Czechs compete in Group A, facing Canada, Switzerland, and France. Their tournament begins against Canada on Feb. 12 (5:40 a.m.). They then take on France on Feb. 13 (7:40 a.m.) and Switzerland on Feb. 15 (3:10 a.m.).<\/p>\n

Clara: Team Italy<\/p>\n

Ducks\u2019 goalie prospect Clara is on loan to Brynas IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) this season. He was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. In his 30 SHL games so far, he has a 16-13-0 record with a .888 SV%. <\/a><\/p>\n

Clara and Team Italy are in Group B with Granlund and his Finnish crew, Sweden, and Slovakia. They begin group play on Feb. 11 against Sweden (3:10 p.m.) and will face Slovakia Feb. 13 (3:10 a.m.) and Finland Feb. 14 (7:40 a.m.).<\/p>\n

Playoffs and Medal-Winning Games<\/p>\n

The Olympic playoffs take place on Feb. 17 with four games running throughout the day. Per NBC Sports<\/a>, the three group winners, plus the single best second-place team, advance to the quarterfinals. The other eight teams play in a qualification round to determine the last four quarterfinalists.<\/p>\n

Those who move on to the quarterfinals will play the following day, where there will also be four games. The semifinals have just two games that occur on Feb. 20. To cap off the tournament, the bronze medal game happens Feb. 21 at 11:40 a.m., and the gold medal game on Feb. 22 at 5:10 a.m. <\/p>\n

Where to Watch the Olympic Hockey Tournament<\/p>\n

The Olympics are officially hosted on NBC\/Peacock <\/a>in the United States. Games will be streaming live online and via Peacock, with many games being rebroadcast on cable (NBC, USA Network, CNBC, and NBCSN) at various times throughout the day. In Canada, most of the Olympic Games will be available through CBC via cable or streaming on their app or website.<\/p>\n
