It didn\u2019t take long for chemistry to develop within the new line put together by Jon Cooper.<\/p>\n

As the pressure builds ahead of Team Canada\u2019s first game, the atmosphere appears rather relaxed among the new linemates.<\/p>\n

A funny moment occurred after Sunday\u2019s practice, as the captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki, was speaking to the media.<\/p>\n

While Suzuki was seriously answering questions, his left winger, Brad Marchand, walked behind him to throw him off with a bit of humor.<\/p>\n

Here’s what the Panthers\u2019 little pest blurted out in french:<\/p>\n

“Nick Suzuki talking to the media after Team Canada practice today.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be honest, hearing Marchand speak French to tease his centerman is the kind of moment that makes fans smile, regardless of their NHL allegiance.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also an encouraging sign for team chemistry.<\/p>\n

If Marchand already feels comfortable enough to joke around with Suzuki in front of reporters, it means communication is flowing well between the two.<\/p>\n

Marchand didn\u2019t stop there either.<\/p>\n

He later added, “My name is beau, pretty,” with a more exaggerated accent, let\u2019s just say we love it!<\/p>\n

As a reminder, here are the units expected to hit the ice to start the tournament, with Suzuki firmly slotted in the top nine:<\/p>\n
