Before the Minnesota Wild jumped into the running<\/a> for a then-disgruntled Quinn Hughes, most around the league thought he\u2019d land in New Jersey where his two younger brothers<\/a>, Jack (24) and Luke (22), are already on roster.<\/p>\n

Fortunately for the Wild, the Devils couldn\u2019t get a deal done, and Billy G. swung in at the perfect time<\/a>, to swipe him out from underneath their fingertips.<\/p>\n

Well, now Jack and Quinn are both in Milan, where both will play significant roles for Team USA over the next few weeks at the 2026 Winter Olympics\u2026 or will they?<\/p>\n

New Jersey Devils social media team did what to Quinn Hughes?<\/p>\n

Well, not if New Jersey\u2019s\u2019 social media team has anything to say about it, apparently. On Monday, the Devils\u2019 edited Quinn out of a photo he took with his brother Jack and the two Tkachuk brothers, seemingly trying to erase the eldest Hughes brother from the Olympic picture.<\/p>\n

The edit was so bad that people on the internet were wondering if they wanted people to notice. And it turns out they did?<\/p>\n

From what those who pay closer attention to the Devils\u2019 socials than me, this is a long-standing bit for between the Devils and Quinn Hughes, though it\u2019s not something they have done very recently.<\/p>\n

Lots of Minnesota Wild on Team USA<\/p>\n

Outside of Jonas Brodin, who\u2019s injured, and Kirill Kaprizov \u2014 who is not allowed to compete because Russia remains banned from the games \u2014 most of the Wild\u2019s best players are in Milan<\/a> representing their various countries.<\/p>\n

Minnesota has three Americans playing for Team USA and all three are expected to see plenty of ice time. Matt Boldy is battling for second-line minutes, while both Brock Faber and Quinn Hughes will get all the time they can handle on the American blue line.<\/p>\n

The Wild acquired Hughes \u2014 a 26-year-old<\/a> defensive superstar \u2014 back in December, in a trade that required a ton of young talent going back to Vancouver, in order to get across the finish line. But before he can help pull Minnesota on a deep playoff run, he, his brother and the rest of Team USA will try and win Olympic Gold.<\/p>\n
