From NHL enforcer to media personality \u2013 Paul Bissonnette is expecting fireworks in the battle for Olympic gold on ice. <\/p>\n

The Barstool Sports \u201cSpittin\u2019 Chiclets\u201d podcast host sat down with The Post for an exclusive interview to talk puck, with his beloved Team Canada entering the tournament as favorites<\/a> at DraftKings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Canada sits at +115 odds, compared to Team USA\u2019s +175 mark.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo Canada, b\u2013ch,\u201d Bissonnette joked, while also adding that he hopes that Canada beats the USA in the gold medal final. \u201cI hope that Canada throttles them on that stage. I hope that it\u2019s a 7-1 thumping so we can re-establish ourselves as the greatest hockey nation with no doubters \u2026 Sidney Crosby is our fearless leader<\/a>. The gift that keeps on giving, he\u2019s been doing this for 20 years, folks. Let\u2019s go Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bissonnette broke down what a matchup between these two behemoth rosters would look like as they move forward in this tournament. <\/p>\n

\u201cCanada needs to get good goaltending<\/a> right out of the gate so it doesn\u2019t become a big topic of conversation. And then they just need to figure out their lines and see what\u2019s clicking. In the NHL, the best players play center,\u201d Bissonnette said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing is with Team Canada, where do you put those other centers that can\u2019t play center? Are they comfortable playing wing? That\u2019s what I\u2019m looking at for Canada, to tweak the small things to be prepared for when they get into the medal rounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

While looking at Team USA, Bissonnette said this might be the best roster they\u2019ve ever had on paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know you have a good team when you are having a problem deciding if Quinn Hughes should be quarterbacking your power play with four forwards or if you should go with a guy like Zach Werenski,\u201d Bissonnette said. \u201cThey went and elected to go with guys like JT Miller and [Vincent] Trocheck. The dogs. The guys you know that will be irritating any lineup they play against, but specifically the Canadian forwards.\u201d<\/p>\n

When checking out any dark horses for this year\u2019s tournament, he tipped his hat to Slovakia for pulling off an upset of Finland<\/a>, which now makes Group B wide open in the tournament.<\/p>\n

Another team to watch is Germany, according to the TNT television analyst, who adds that Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl is that good.<\/p>\n

Betting on the NHL? <\/p>\n

\u201cCan Draisaitl really do it?\u201d Bissonnette pondered. <\/p>\n

Germany will have a tough time in Group C, though, as they\u2019ll need to contend with Team USA.<\/p>\n
