Seider was on the first defensive pair for the Germans, working with Fabio Wagner. Seider\u2019s assist came on Germany\u2019s third goal, scored by Tim Stutzle (Ottawa Senators) midway through the second period. Stutzle had broken a 1-1 tie with a goal earlier in the period.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>TOI<\/p>\n<p>Seider logged 26:18 of ice time, far and away the most on the German team. He\u2019s expected to shoulder a lion\u2019s share of the load on the blue line for the Germans.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Analysis<\/p>\n<p>Germany is looking to improve on its showing at the 2022 Olympics, in which it went 1-2 in group play in a group that included the USA and Canada. Leon Draiseitl (Edmonton Oilers) got the Germans on the board just 23 seconds into the game, following in the footsteps of his father, Peter. Philip Grubauer (Seattle Kraken) was in net, stopping 37 of 38 shots.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Production<\/p>\n<p>Seider\u2019s assist came on Germany\u2019s third goal.
