This marks Ingram\u2019s second NBA All-Star selection, his first since the 2019-20 season.<\/p>\n Why is Cooper Flagg sitting out the 2026 NBA All-Star Rising Stars Game?<\/p>\n Cooper Flagg, star rookie for the Dallas Mavericks, was originally selected to participate in the NBA\u2019s Castrol Rising Stars game<\/a> during NBA All-Star Weekend<\/a>. But he will now miss the game<\/a> due to a left midfoot sprain. The injury reportedly occurred in the Maverick\u2019s recent 120-111 loss at Phoenix, a game where Flagg scored 27 points and played 36 minutes on the floor. At just 19-years-old, Flagg recently set an NBA record for a teenager with four consecutive games of at least 30 points.<\/p>\n Flagg is one of two injured players affecting the Rising Stars game, with Alex Sarr of the Wizards also sitting out due to injury. The pair are being replaced<\/a> by Utah Jazz forward Ace Bailey and Washington Wizards guard Bub Carrington.<\/p>\n The Castrol Rising Stars game is slated for 9 p.m. ET on Friday, February 13, streaming exclusively on Peacock.
