“Two or three weeks ago, I had a visitor at the Bell Centre who has cancer \u2014 and he\u2019s four years old. The biggest Canadiens fan I\u2019ve ever met, four years old. He had one week to do whatever he wanted before starting therapy. Then he\u2019s facing two years of treatment.<\/p>\n
So I asked \u2014 and I can\u2019t tell you how special the Canadiens are \u2014 but in 18 years, I had never asked them for a favor. With this young boy visiting, and wanting to give him the best night of his life, I asked if it was at all possible that after the game he could have a short meeting with anyone. It could be Cole, who\u2019s one of his favorites, it could be Arber, one of his favorites, or Lane.<\/p>\n
Cole said, absolutely, I\u2019ll do it.<\/p>\n
Cole spent time with the family, and he brought the young boy and his brother onto the ice to take pictures. You have no idea how good of a guy he is. What he did really touched me. Truly.”<\/p>\n
