This certainly isn’t news that Vancouver Canucks were hoping to hear, however it’s not something to stress about too much right now, given how much time there is until the trade deadline.<\/p>\n
In a perfect world, the Canucks will get a third round pick for Evander Kane, who has 25 points in 56 games this season, with the club retaining half of his salary, but if that asset isn’t attainable as we get closer to March 6th, Patrik Allvin might need to settle for less. A fourth or fifth round pick is better than losing him for nothing as a free agent this summer, that’s for sure.<\/p>\n
