If he can\u2019t Suzuki likely to slide into his spot as he did in the 1\/4 finals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ryan Rishaug (@TSNRyanRishaug) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TSNRyanRishaug\/status\/2024584974645514413?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">February 19, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Crosby, 38, was injured in the second period of Canada\u2019s narrow 4-3 overtime win over Czechia in the quarter-finals after getting tangled up with Czechia defenceman Radko Gudas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 5-foot-11 centre was favouring his right leg as he gingerly walked towards the dressing room.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Head coach Jon Cooper didn\u2019t rule out Crosby playing in the semifinal earlier on Thursday during Canada\u2019s optional practice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019ve got the best of the best looking at him,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re taking this day by day \u2026 we\u2019re not going to put anyone in harm\u2019s way.
