United States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby missed Team Canada\u2019s Olympics semifinals win vs. Finland on Friday due to a <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsnetpittsburgh.com\/2026\/02\/20\/team-canada-gets-major-sidney-crosby-injury-update-before-olympics-semifinals-vs-finland\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">lower-body injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old could return to the lineup for Sunday\u2019s gold medal game against the United States, however.<\/p>\n<p>Crosby skated in Canada\u2019s practice Saturday and head coach Jon Cooper addressed Crosby\u2019s status afterward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI watched him skate today,\u201d Cooper told reporters on Saturday in Milan, according to Penguins reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.post-gazette.com\/sports\/penguins\/2026\/02\/21\/sidney-crosby-canada-olympics-status\/stories\/202602210048\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">King Jemison of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re going to meet tonight and have a determination of what\u2019s going to happen tomorrow.
