Amadeus Lombardi became the third player in Grand Rapids Griffins history to score overtime goals in back-to-back games when he scored the game-winner in a 4-3 win against the Milwaukee Admirals. He is the first to do it in consecutive nights.<\/p>\n
Lombardi scored his unassisted goal at the four-minute mark of overtime. The win was the sixth consecutive for the Griffins (40-7-2-1, 83 points) who also have established a new American League record for best record through 50 games.<\/p>\n
With two goals and an assist in the game, Lombardi now has nine goals and 19 assists for 28 points in 30 games. Alex Doucet also had a goal and an assist for Grand Rapids.<\/p>\n
