Team Canada superstar Connor McDavid proved again that he is the best hockey player in the world, despite losing the gold medal game against Team USA on Sunday. <\/p>\n
McDavid, 29, has played 11 NHL seasons, winning the Ted Lindsay Award four times, the Art Ross Trophy five times, the Hart Memorial Trophy three times and becoming a one-time Maurice Richard Trophy and Conn Smythe Trophy winner.<\/p>\n

He lost back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers (2024 and 2025), scoring four goals and dishing out 14 assists in 13 games.<\/p>\n McDavid had the chance to win silverware for his national team at the Milano-Cortina Games, but Jack Hughes and Co. had different plans. The New Jersey Devils center gave Team USA the 2-1 win and the gold medal with an overtime goal.<\/p>\n Exactly as it happened during the 2024 NHL season, Connor McDavid showcased his talents, but couldn\u2019t get the job done.
