One of the biggest stories the 12th Man will be following intently over the next several months will be who emerges as the next owner(s) of the Seattle Seahawks<\/a>. Less than two weeks after their Super Bowl LX victory, the Paul G. Allen estate announced they would begin the process of selling the team.<\/p>\n

Of course, news of a new ownership group brought about (understandable!) fears that the beloved Seahawks could go the way of the SuperSonics and leave town. I wrote extensively about how I do not think that is a realistic outcome at all, and I am not alone.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on 710 ESPN’s Brock and Salk Show, Seattle Kraken<\/a> CEO Tod Leiweke shared his thoughts on the matter. Leiweke was absolutely confident the Seahawks are going nowhere. In fact, he even went as far as to say “no possibility.” Leiweke explained how the Allen family has guided the franchise excellently, as well as maintaining Lumen Field as one of the best stadiums in the league. Additionally, the Seahawks have an incredible following, both in the Pacific Northwest and around the country.<\/p>\n

Tod Leiweke was the Seahawks’ CEO from 2002-2010. His expertise on this matter should be taken with the utmost authority.<\/p>\n
