Los Angeles Kings right winger Adrian Kempe has revealed that he’s doing his homework and learning how to be the best linemate he can be to newcoming superstar Artemi Panarin. He’s watched videos of Panarin, his old teammates, and even spoke to New York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad.<\/p>\n

Yeah, and, and, and unfortunately they don’t have a lot of time to think about it, right?<\/p>\n
I mean, the trade deadline is right around the corner.<\/p>\n
It’s basically two weeks away, so, you know, they’ll fold Panarin in, you know, pretty quickly, and I guess they gotta see how he gels and, and, and what he can do for them.<\/p>\n
But I would imagine because Fiala is done for the season, I, I think that’s a pretty good assumption, I mean, they do have his cap space now.<\/p>\n
So do they go to St. Louis and say, “Yeah, l- we want Jordan Kyrou, and we will give you a boatload of stuff for him or a Robert Thomas”?<\/p>\n
it’s, it’s a tough decision because if you’re the Los Angeles Kings, you’ve already kind of, you know, put yourself in a pot-committed situation.<\/p>\n
But without Kevin Fiala, can you really say that you’re up there with Colorado, Minnesota, Dallas, Vegas, Edmonton?<\/p>\n
So it’s tricky.<\/p>\n
I mean, it’s gonna be, you know, short-term thinking versus long-term thinking, and I, I do not envy Ken Holland right now.<\/p>\n

I don’t even think they should’ve got Panarin, to be honest.<\/p>\n
I was never a big fan of that trade.<\/p>\n
It was a risk, and- Yeah boy, it, it, it’s gonna be hard.<\/p>\n
You know, Ryan, like, I don’t know, like Yeah, they’re gonna have to get someone, to replace him, and I guess that’s the good news.<\/p>\n
If he’s gonna be done for the year, then you do have some cap space, and you can go out, and I still think that’s a team, though, man, they’re old.<\/p>\n
uh- Yeah I just, I just don’t see them, even with, like, a Kyrou or whomever they might grab at the deadline.<\/p>\n
You know, there, there’s a lot of big boys out in the, the west that they have to get past, like Vegas being one of them.<\/p>\n
You know, and now you got an Edmonton team where Connor McDavid is like I don’t know, is there gonna be a player angrier than Connor McDavid right now for the rest of the season?<\/p>\n
Maybe Nathan MacKinnon.<\/p>\n
Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n
Okay, fine, and they’re also in the west, so- True yeah.<\/p>\n
I, I guess if you can ever face the Colorado Avalanche, if you’re the LA Kings, that’s, that’s success- Yeah, big ’cause it means you got to the conference final.<\/p>\n

But, you know, I’d be hard-pressed to think they’re gonna get that far.<\/p>\n
