{"id":472209,"date":"2026-02-26T02:36:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T02:36:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/472209\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T02:36:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T02:36:37","slug":"stars-honor-olympic-gold-medalists-jake-oettinger-hannah-bilka-and-amber-glenn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nhl\/472209\/","title":{"rendered":"Stars honor Olympic gold medalists Jake Oettinger, Hannah Bilka and Amber Glenn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Now that the Olympic break is over, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/stars\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/stars\/\"> Dallas Stars<\/a> took some time to celebrate some gold medalists on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The Stars played three separate videos on the American Airlines Center jumbotron to honor Jake Oettinger and the U.S. men\u2019s hockey team, Coppell\u2019s Hannah Bilka of the U.S. women\u2019s hockey team and Plano figure skater Amber Glenn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Bilka\u2019s video was played first in front of the home crowd. The video included highlights of Bilka\u2019s Olympic tournament with the U.S. women\u2019s hockey team. Bilka, who plays for the Seattle Torrent of the PWHL, led the U.S. women\u2019s team with four goals during the Olympic tournament. Oettinger dressed out as Connor Hellebuyck\u2019s backup for several games in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/stars\/2026\/02\/22\/us-scores-in-ot-beats-canada-for-first-mens-hockey-gold-at-the-olympics-since-1980\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/stars\/2026\/02\/22\/us-scores-in-ot-beats-canada-for-first-mens-hockey-gold-at-the-olympics-since-1980\/\">the men\u2019s team\u2019s gold medal run.<\/a> Fans in the arena celebrated the team\u2019s video with a loud round of applause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Finally, the Stars gave a shoutout to Glenn. While competing for the U.S. in the Winter Games in Italy, Glenn<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/other-sports\/2026\/02\/19\/amber-glenn-olympics-free-skate-rebound-milano-cortina\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/other-sports\/2026\/02\/19\/amber-glenn-olympics-free-skate-rebound-milano-cortina\/\"> won gold in the team event. <\/a>The 26-year-old Glenn was born in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High.
