Connor Mushero, Seth Hansen, Tatum Doucette and Kolby Pelletier each chipped in with a goal for Messalonskee (16-3), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressherald.com\/2026\/02\/24\/varsity-maine-boys-hockey-poll-9\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">the No. 2 team in this week\u2019s Varsity Maine poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Corson scored for Old Town\/Orono (1-18).<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Kirk and Jackson Boucher combined to make nine saves for Messalonskee. Oscar Brown stopped 38 shots in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>KENNEBUNK\/WELLS 2, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: Taggart Connor put home the rebound of a Dylan Page shot in overtime to give the third-seeded Rams (14-4-1) a Class B South quarterfinal victory over the sixth-seeded Capers (5-14) at Alfond Forum in Biddeford.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Baxter tied the game for Kennebunk\/Wells when he scored on a penalty shot in the third period.<\/p>\n<p>Cape\u2019s Bennett Hooper opened the scoring in the second period.<\/p>\n<p>GORHAM\/MASSABESIC 4, GARDINER CO-OP 0: Harley McLean and Isaiah Waterman each notched a goal and an assist and Grant Peters stopped 17 shots as the top-seeded Rams (15-4) won a Class B South quarterfinal over No. 8 Gardiner\/Waterville\/Winslow\/Lawrence\/Richmond\/Wiscasset (3-16) at USM Ice Arena in Gorham.<\/p>\n<p>Levi Wagner and Tyler Croteau also scored.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Loubier made 45 saves for the Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>CONY CO-OP 12, HOULTON CO-OP: The Rams (14-3) scored seven times in the second period and cruised to a win over the Blackhawks (3-13) in a Class B North quarterfinal in Hallowell.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson Wing had three goals and two assists, while Alex Leet had two goals and four assists for the Cony co-op, which advances to face the Hampden co-op in the semifinals on Saturday.
