The New Jersey Devils will face the St. Louis Blues on the road tonight (Feb. 28), but the matchup also marks an important career milestone for forward Cody Glass<\/a>, who will skate in his 300th NHL game. The achievement comes just two months after he earned the 100th NHL point of his career.<\/p>\n

The Devils traded for him in March of 2025<\/a>, in a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins that also included Jonathan Gruden, in exchange for Chase Stillman, Max Graham, and a third-round 2027 draft pick. Since then, Glass has become an important depth scorer, primarily as a third-line center.<\/p>\n

This season, he has 13 goals and six assists, which is his highest point total since his career-high of 35 with the Nashville Predators in 2022-23. Of his 19 points in 2025-26, Glass tallied 10 of them throughout January, including six goals, two of which were game-winners.<\/p>\n

Glass has been a key contributor to the Devils\u2019 bottom-six forward group, providing scoring stability and strong two-way play. In fact, he\u2019s currently tied with Jesper Bratt<\/a> and Dawson Mercer<\/a> for the club\u2019s third-most goals.<\/p>\n

Since signing a two-year, $5 million contract extension<\/a> in July, Glass has been one of the Devils\u2019 most offensively efficient players. He ranks second on the team in goals per 60 minutes (GF\/60)<\/a> in 5-on-5 scenarios, with an average of 2.59. In addition, his faceoff win percentage (FO%) of 53 marks a new career high for the 26-year-old forward.<\/p>\n

Overall, Glass has had a positive impact since joining the Devils, and he\u2019ll play an important role moving forward, as the team tries to avoid finishing the season near the bottom of the Metropolitan Division.<\/p>\n
