Tyler Myers is hard to miss.<\/p>\n

And between now and the March 6 NHL trade deadline, the 6-foot-8 defenseman is going to be even harder to miss. He’ll be at the heart of trade rumors until the Vancouver Canucks<\/a> do indeed move him.<\/p>\n

At this point, based on all the reporting out there, it’s hard to see a scenario where Myers is still with the Canucks next weekend.<\/p>\n

NHL insider Frank Seravalli<\/a> shared his latest intel in a new article on Saturday:<\/p>\n

“Defenseman\u00a0Tyler Myers\u00a0seems to be warming to the notion of moving his family. Sources indicate Detroit, Dallas and Anaheim are the most interested parties and Myers appears to be partial to Dallas if the two teams can make a deal work.”<\/p>\n

Myers has a full no-move clause, which essentially means he’s in close to total control of his destination.<\/p>\n

The first key to the Canucks trading him is simply Myers feeling comfortable with the concept of being dealt, and Seravalli’s reporting suggests that he’s at least at that point.<\/p>\n

Then it’s about a team wanting Myers that Myers also wants to go to.<\/p>\n

The Red Wings have been reported to be offering a second-round pick for Myers. There’s less known about specific offers from the Stars or Ducks.<\/p>\n

Dallas actually just freed up a good chunk of cap space by placing Tyler Seguin on season-ending injured reserve, so that gives the Stars space to bring Myers aboard if they can match a price the Canucks would approve of.<\/p>\n

At this point, it feels like a matter not of if, but when Myers gets moved.<\/p>\n
