If there is one thing we have learned about Tampa Bay Lightning General Manager Julien BriseBois over the years, it is that he is never afraid to swing for the fences at the NHL trade deadline<\/a>. According to NHL insider Darren Dreger<\/a> on TSN Radio 1050, the Lightning are officially \u201ckicking tires\u201d on acquiring Calgary Flames<\/a> star center Nazem Kadri<\/a>. Dreger dropped a massive nugget confirming that Kadri is open to a trade and has looked phenomenal recently, actively showcasing his high-end two-way skills to opposing scouts.<\/p>\n

As someone who has analyzed the NHL trade market for years, this rumor immediately jumps off the page. The fit is undeniable.
