The Dallas Stars<\/a> are right back in action.<\/p>\n

After a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday<\/a>, Dallas returns to the ice to take on the Calgary Flames (24-28-7, 7th in the Pacific Division) on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Stars (37-14-9, 2nd in the Central Division) have been in fine form recently, climbing back into second place in the Central and the Western Conference.<\/p>\n

Calgary\u2019s boogeyman<\/p>\n

Stars forward Jason Robertson<\/a> has thrived against Calgary in his career.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s tallied 20 points (11 goals, 9 assists) in 13 games against the Flames and enters with a 12-game points streak against Calgary that dates back more than four years to Feb. 1, 2022.<\/p>\n

Robertson is in the midst of another terrific season, leading the Stars with 70 points in 60 games this season. His 34 goals lead the team and are tied for fifth-most in the NHL.<\/p>\n

A future Dallas Star?<\/p>\n

With the trade deadline looming<\/a> this Friday, the Stars could still be looking to add, particularly some additional forward help or a right-shot defenseman. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s possible one of their targets will be on the other bench tonight in Calgary.<\/p>\n

Center Nazem Kadri, the Flames\u2019 top scorer this season, has been linked with a trade to the Stars<\/a> before the deadline. His $7 million contract could pose cap issues for Dallas, but with 41 points (12 goals, 29 assists) this season, Kadri might be worth the budget squeeze.<\/p>\n

Kadri is also familiar with Rantanen from their time together in Colorado. The pair won the Stanley Cup together in 2022.<\/p>\n
