The streaking Dallas Stars<\/a> have reached heights never seen in franchise history since coming back from the Olympic break. <\/p>\n

A 6-1 shellacking of the Calgary Flames on Tuesday<\/a> was the organization\u2019s 10th-straight victory, marking the first time the Stars have ever reached a double-digit winning streak. <\/p>\n

The run started on Jan. 23 in a 3-2 win over St. Louis and survived the three-week layoff as a contingent of the team traveled to Italy to represent their respective countries. <\/p>\n

And while names like Mikko Rantanen<\/a>, Roope Hintz<\/a> and Radek Faksa have yet to see the ice since the Olympics due to injury or illness, the depth of the Dallas roster<\/a> has showed its might in the Stars\u2019 recent showings. <\/p>\n

\u201cContributions from every single player on our team here, we\u2019re missing a lot of guys,\u201d Stars captain Jamie Benn said of the streak after Tuesday\u2019s win<\/a>. \u201cThe guys that have stepped in have done a great job. It\u2019s a collective effort, a team effort and I think that\u2019s what we like most about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dallas forward Matt Duchene tied a career high with four points against the Flames, dishing out four assists, including one to Benn on a first-period tally<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cGuys are pulling their weight, guys are feeling confident, guys are feeling good,\u201d Duchene said<\/a>. \u201cWe want to keep riding the wave.\u201d<\/p>\n

After back-to-back 6-1 victories<\/a>, Dallas gets the next two days off. The Stars return home to face the Central Division leading Colorado Avalanche at American Airlines Center on Friday, the first matchup of a six-game homestand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will lose a game at some point,\u201d Duchene said. \u201cAt that point, it\u2019s about refocusing and staying with it. … If we keep putting the same effort out and the same process, I think a lot of good things are happening.\u201d<\/p>\n
