It appears that Tristan Jarry has once again not been endearing himself to his Edmonton Oilers teammates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elliotte Friedman noted on his 32 Thoughts podcast Monday morning that “There’s a lot of talk out there about\u00a0Jarry got into it in practice with some of his teammates.”<\/p>\n

Noted Oilers insider Bob Stauffer originally revealed that, on his\u00a0Oilers Now podcast<\/a>\u00a0on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s some extraneous things that have me quite concerned with Tristan.\u00a0I can read between the lines of what was going on the ice yesterday in practice. There seemed to be some salvos flying. (And) I didn\u2019t like that Jarry, when the Oilers lost 7-3 to Minnesota (on Jan. 31), talked about how the team is playing defensively in front of him,\u201d said Stauffer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then Friday night, Jarry went out and surrendered another five goals on 31 shots for an .839 save percentage in another\u00a0disastrous outing, a 6-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This latest practice incident that Stauffer and Friedman referred to isn’t the first time that Jarry’s practice ‘look’ has been under the microscope. Just last week, he was getting noticeably “lit up” in the morning session by his teammates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I watched practice yesterday, and I know it’s only practice… Jarry was getting lit up.”<\/p>\n

“I watched practice yesterday, and I know it’s only practice… But I was watching drill after drill and Jarry was getting lit up,” said Jason Gregor.\u00a0 “I haven’t seen a goalie give up that many goals in a while.”<\/p>\n

That seems to carry over into the games.\u00a0Jarry now has a\u00a0woeful 3.96 goals-against average and .862 save percentage over his 13 games with Edmonton.<\/p>\n

We often talk about how a coach can “lose the room.” It seems like that’s the case with Jarry and the Oilers right now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Like Skinner SUCKS but at least everyone on the team loved the dude lol. They wanted to win with Skinner.<\/p>\n

The good news is that Connor Ingram stepped in and backstopped them to a much-needed 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday, with a .923 Sv% for the game.<\/p>\n

The Oilers are\u00a030-25-8, clinging to third place in the Pacific Division. They are four points up on being out of a playoff spot, but in the glass-half-full department, they are also only three points back of the first-place Anaheim Ducks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
