Last season, the winger set an NHL record, tracked league-wide since 2005-06, with 384 hits.<\/p>\n<p>So when Sherwood calls Charlie McAvoy\u2019s Thursday hit to his head \u201cdirty and unnecessary and just stupid on his part\u201d \u2014 it\u2019s not any common complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Sherwood added: \u201cIf anyone can attest to being physical \u2014 humbly \u2014 I know, obviously, you know where you\u2019re aiming for.
