Jake Oettinger<\/a> hasn\u2019t missed a beat after the Olympic break.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Stars<\/a> goalie has played a key role in his team\u2019s recent success. For that, he was honored as the NHL\u2019s Second Star of the Week.<\/a><\/p>\n

Oettinger earned the latest honor after posting a 3-0-0 record in games from March 10-14. He posted a 1.65 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage as Dallas defeated the Vegas Golden Knights, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Red Wings.<\/p>\n

Oettinger posted a total of 78 saves in that three-game stretch. He recorded 26 saves in Dallas\u2019 narrow 2-1 win over the Golden Knights.<\/a> He followed that up with a 30-save performance in a 7-2 win over the Oilers.<\/a> To close out his productive week, Oettinger recorded 22 saves in a 3-2 win over the Red Wings.<\/a><\/p>\n

Oettinger currently ranks third among NHL goalies with 28 wins on the season. Only Tampa Bay\u2019s Andrei Vasilevskiy (30) and Utah\u2019s Karel Vejmelka (30) have more.<\/p>\n

The Stars\u2019 goalie was honored this week alongside New York Rangers left wing Alexis Lafreni\u00e8re (First Star) and St. Louis Blues right wing Jimmy Snuggerud.<\/p>\n
