In Monday\u2019s edition of Bailey\u2019s Daily, we\u2019ll be talking the latest Philadelphia Flyers news, NHL news, stories, highlights, and more from the last day.<\/p>\n

Ok, so firstly, stuff went down with the Alexei Kolosov<\/a> situation. I (Jon) circulated a report that the Philadelphia Flyers basically dumped the goalie in a hotel for a month and told him \u2018good luck\u2019. This is not the case and has been rectified in the original article.<\/p>\n

The Flyers vehemently denied that report, so changes were made. As far as me originally saying the Flyers \u201cabandoned\u201d Kolosov, yes, that\u2019s what it seemed like. If I had said \u201cleft\u201d, there would be no pushback. The two words are synonyms.<\/p>\n

Anyhow, this is in the past, it\u2019s been resolved and cleared, and it\u2019s my promise and my responsibility to be more mindful of how I word things and whose information I\u2019m passing around in the position I\u2019m in.<\/p>\n

A few days back, Flyers forward Bobby Brink<\/a> made a cameo on the Nasty Knuckles podcast and shared that he\u2019s spent a good chunk of the offseason here in Voorhees, New Jersey, golfing, working out, and things of that sort.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old also shared that the Flyers are working with him to help him become stronger and more explosive\u2013two things he could really use to complement his outstanding hockey IQ and playmaking abilities. At 5-foot-8, Brink needs every advantage he can get on the ice.<\/p>\n

Despite an electric start to life with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Flyers\u2019 Metropolitan Division rivals elected not to retain Alex Nylander<\/a>, formerly the No. 8 overall pick in 2016 and brother of Toronto Maple Leafs superstar William Nylander.<\/p>\n
