The first meeting between the Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> (31-23-12) and Anaheim Ducks<\/a> (37-27-3) can be viewed as a turning point for both teams. That was the halfway point of the season for the Flyers, and their 5-2 win moved them to 22-12-7, third place in the Metropolitan Division. Anaheim’s loss was their seventh straight and 11th in the previous 13 games.<\/p>\n

Since then, the Flyers are 10-11-5 and have dropped further in the wildcard standings. Anaheim has rebounded with a 16-9-0 record to move back into the Pacific Division lead as the two meet again on Wednesday night at 10 PM.<\/p>\n
