\u2014 Utah Mammoth (@utahmammoth) June 28, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n Currently, Utah\u2019s defenseman position features names like Mikhail Sergachev, Sean Durzi, Ian Cole, John Marino, and Olli Maatta.<\/p>\n Yesterday, with the No. 4 overall pick in the first round, the Mammoth picked center Caleb Desnoyers.<\/p>\n Utah also holds the 78th, 110th, 142nd, and 174th picks in this year\u2019s draft.<\/p>\n About Max Psenicka<\/p>\n Psenicka is a right-handed defenseman, originally from Czechia.<\/p>\n Standing at 6-foot-5 and 185 pounds, he held down the back line for the Portland Winterhawks in the Western Hockey League last season. In 24 games played, he posted one goal and six assists in the regular season.<\/p>\n Psenicka is definitely a project pick, but with so many prospects in line, Utah has nothing but time. As an 18-year-old, he is already very physical and uses his size well.
