Edmonton Oilers<\/a> captain Connor McDavid<\/a> left Monday\u2019s practice with trainers. <\/p>\n

According to TSN\u2019s Ryan Rishaug, McDavid did not look injured, but will follow up with head coach Kris Knoblauch after the practice. <\/p>\n

McDavid left practice part way through and is in with trainers. Didn\u2019t look like he was injured but we\u2019ll follow up with Knoblauch after skate.<\/p>\n

The Oilers, who are still looking to secure a playoff spot in the Western Conference, begin a two-game road trip on Tuesday against the Utah Mammoth<\/a> before playing the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> on Thursday in Nevada.<\/p>\n

Edmonton has dropped back-to-back games and currently sit third in the Pacific Division with a 34-28-9 record through 71 games, four points ahead of the Los Angeles Kings<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 29-year-old McDavid is in the midst of another Hart Trophy-calibre season, recording 38 goals and 78 assists over 71 games. McDavid has now produced 100 or more points in six straight seasons. <\/p>\n

Fellow superstar Leon Draisaitl<\/a> is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season with a lower-body injury suffered against the Nashville Predators<\/a> on March 15. <\/p>\n

The 30-year-old German has 35 goals and 62 assists over 65 games in 2025-26. <\/p>\n
