Jessi Pierce\u2019s husband, Mike Hinrichs, is asking for privacy while he grieves the loss of his wife and their three children following a tragic house fire Saturday in Minnesota.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been in close contact with Mike to support him, his family and his friends,\u201d the White Bear Lake fire department said in a statement Wednesday<\/a>. \u201cHe has asked us to share his request for privacy while he grieves and the rest of his family and friends navigate this unimaginable time.\u201d<\/p>\n The fire department confirmed Wednesday what had been widely reported that Pierce, 38, and the couple\u2019s three children \u2014 8-year-old Hudson Hinrichs, 6-year-old Cayden Hinrichs and 4-year-old Avery Hinrichs \u2014 all died in the early-morning fire in White Bear Lake, Minn.<\/p>\n Jessi Pierce, Mike Hinrichs and their three children. http:\/\/www.gofundme.com<\/a><\/p>\n The family\u2019s dog also perished.<\/p>\n Mike was not present at the time of the fire since he was out of town for business, per The Athletic.<\/a><\/p>\n A GoFundMe has since been created<\/a> to aid Mike, with more than $213,000 raised with a goal of $250,000, as of Thursday morning.<\/p>\n \u201cJessi had a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger heart. She was devoted to her family, going above and beyond to create many moments of joy and everlasting memories,\u201d the page read<\/a>. \u201cThe children, each with their own unique personalities, shared Jessi\u2019s zest for life and love for adventure.<\/p>\n \u201cThey leave behind Mike, husband to Jessi and loving father of their children, who is now experiencing an unimaginably difficult time. We are raising funds to cover funeral expenses and to provide financial support for the family during this period of grief.\u201d<\/p>\n The White Bear Lake fire department previously said<\/a> it received a call from neighbors at 5:26 a.m. Saturday regarding a fire at a single-family home on Richard Avenue.<\/p>\n Jessi Pierce and her three children.
