Dylan Holloway scored the game-winning goal in overtime with three seconds left to lift the St. Louis Blues past the San Jose Sharks 2-1 on Thursday.<\/p>\n

After the Sharks had a chance in OT, Holloway chased down a puck and lifted a puck on the backhand over the top of Alex Nedeljkovic. <\/p>\n

Dalibor Dvorsky scored the other goal for the Blues, who have won three straight games. Joel Hofer continued his strong play after the Olympic break, making 24 saves.<\/p>\n

Alexander Wennberg<\/a> scored for the San Jose Sharks, who are on a six-game (0-5-1) losing streak. Yaroslav Askarov started the game but left in<\/a> the second period with an injury<\/a>. Askarov made 11 saves before Nedeljkovic entered the game. The Sharks\u2019 goalie made 10 saves.<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s start was much better for the Sharks, who gave up five against the Nashville Predators<\/a> on Tuesday. The team was much more engaged and played with the desperation and focus needed for games during March.<\/p>\n

Dvorsky put the Blues up 1-0 at 17:19 of the second period. After a flubbed shot by Dylan Holloway, Dvorsky went to the slot and beat Nedeljkovic with a blocker shot.<\/p>\n

Wennberg tied the game 1-1 at 5:04 of the third period.
