We open up<\/a> NHL predictions with our featured game between the Boston Bruins<\/a> and the Buffalo Sabres<\/a>. Joonas Korpisalo<\/a> is the projected starter after Jeremy Swayman<\/a> got the call against the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. Boston is 5-2-3 in its previous 10 games but did suffer a loss to Toronto in its last time out. The Bruins are holding the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. However, the Detroit Red Wings<\/a> and New York Islanders<\/a> are lurking. Morgan Geekie<\/a> is first on the club in goals with 34 so far this season.<\/p>\n

Buffalo is expected to give Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen<\/a> the start in goal in the first game back from the team\u2019s West Coast trip. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Sabres are 8-1-1 in the last 10 games but are coming off a wild 6-5 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks.<\/a> Tage Thompson<\/a> leads the team in goals (36) and points (72) so far this season.<\/p>\n

Both teams are coming off losses in their previous games. However, the Sabres get back on track with a win.<\/p>\n
